Play with mercury, like Frank Zappa

Skill + Do

Frank Zappa is one of the most delightfully intriguing figures ever to make music. His ideas were always fresh and unique, which made him an idol to millions.

In his personal life and music, he was weird and sharp in equal measure, and he bestowed vital positivity upon everything he touched.

Frank’s father was a scientist who didn’t make a lot of money, so he would bring home flasks, vials, and even gas masks for Frank to play with. And Frank surely entertained himself, at times spilling liquid mercury on the floor and playing with it.

It must have been freeing to have lived as Frank did.

Be weird today. (YES…weirder than you already are.)

Do an activity that takes you out of your routine and comfort zone.

There’s something freeing about mimicking the Frank Zappas of the world, so let Frank inspire you into a zone of release that takes you worlds away from The Sales Life.
