Skill + Do
To claim Oprah’s success is solely based on ambition is to lose sight of her many strong characteristics. You do, too. Use them to your advantage in your selling life.
Oprah’s story is incredible when you consider she was born into poverty to a single teenage mother. At 14, she became pregnant, and her son was born prematurely and died in infancy. Oprah was then sent to live with Vernon Winfrey, a Nashville barber whom she called her father.
Heard enough to conclude her childhood was anything but easy? (No Sht!)
Her first job in media was in radio in high school, and the rest – as is said – was history.
This tale is not about climbing up from nothing – though it could be. This is a "anyone can do anything" story with a heavy undercurrent on using your strengths and moving forward.
You have incredible talents, but the market often makes you focus on other things.
Don’t let that happen.
Invest in yourself by understanding your strengths and getting great at applying them. Whether it’s traits or skills, itemize them, define them as related to you*, and USE them.

Buyers hold your pipeline truth
You look at some of your opps and know inherently they’re dead. So….cut bait. It’ll clear your head and allow you to focus on closing the opportunities in your pipeline that have a real chance.
"The key to realizing a dream is to focus not on success but on significance — and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning." Oprah Winfrey
