With less than 90 days until the start of Q1, it’s time to review and revise your ’25 strategic account plans.
Sure, go on and continue squeezing blood from your Q4 rock, but don’t ignore this Q1 prime-time selling season.
Don’t overthink your ’25 planning exercises, strategic account planners are only beneficial if they help you. Don’t worry about making them perfect or pretty for your manager. Make them simple and prescriptive…for you.
Do
Review your Q1 ’24 actuals and examine how they stand against your Q1 ’25 projections. Then, analyze and revise your plan for how you’re gonna manage the gap and blow by your Q1 quota.
Here’s a simple checklist to help you build momentum:
1. Determine which target accounts need your attention in the next few weeks.
2. Who are the KDMs you need to see per target account?
3. What about obstacles per target account? …what’s your plan to overcome them?
