You know that feeling you get when you wake from a really good night’s sleep?

The myth is that a good night’s sleep is enough to turn off your brain, but given the warp speed of your sales life, you rarely get a good night’s sleep. Even on the weekends.

According to a Harvard study, people spend 47% of their waking hours thinking about something other than what they’re doing. Mental health experts propose that this kind of mind-wandering results in unhappiness.

Eye-opening, eh? …mind-opening too.

Today, meditate.

Yes, meditating can sometimes be hard. It’s called a practice for good reason: you must work at it. And you might have to work at it again the next time you do it.

While it is still essential that you recreate this weekend, shop with friends, and/or have lunch with your BFF, you need a meditation exercise this weekend to reset that big brain of yours.
