Skill

Skill development does not take weekends off. The skill you’re encouraged to work on this weekend is napping. (Yes, it’s considered an accredited skill by those people who do accredited skill stuff.) After a long selling week, it’s time to be good to yourself, and nothing is better than an afternoon nap (besides brunch with friends)!

This weekend, let go of that which consumed you this past week. Feel the air expand in your lungs as you get to what you didn’t do this past week: breathe! There’s time Monday to get at it again.

Do

So you took your nap, but you feel you wanna scratch that work itch, eh?

Fine.

But if you’re gonna open your laptop, make sure you don’t get sucked down a bad hole ‘cuz there’s nothing worse than working on the weekends and getting nothing done.

So, if you’ve had your brunch with friends, did your downward dogs, taken the dogs out for their walk, taken your nap, and it’s still only 1pm… go for it. Just make it productive.

Oomph

It’s undeniable, naps can be heavenly. But sometimes we try to nap, and nothing happens. (Hate that!)

Too bad we can’t just turn the switch like these small children. Enjoy this frivolous 2-minute tutorial on how to nap offered the true napping professionals!

Quote of the day

"They gave me away as a prize once – a Win Tony Curtis For A Weekend competition. The woman who won was disappointed. She’d hoped for second prize – a new stove." Tony Curtis.
