Mindfulness/Self-care

A seller’s emotions can shift with the wind. Stuff comes at you from all directions during the workweek; much of it can be filed in the "hard" column.

Sure, you thrive on the action and the wins, but a rock fight is still a rock fight.

For some, solace is found at a bar on Friday night, for others, it’s the gym. And some just want to curl up with their favorite pet and watch a vid.

While you might be tired of mindfulness experts telling you to engage in a breathing or meditation practice, weekends are meant for self-care. Whether you define self-care by breathing – or yoga, biking, or hiking – make yourself number one this weekend.

Do

You know that getting what you want is only a decision away. (Plus a little execution, of course.)

If you want a robust pipeline, schedule more prospecting time. To nail your quarterly goals, you must set milestones and hold yourself accountable for your performance.

It’s the same with mindfulness. If you want to run far away from your work and use the weekend to escape mentally, you must do the things that bring you joy and release.

Commit to mindfulness this weekend. Schedule the activities that bring you peace of mind and joy.
