With memories of the Q4 push still in your brain, take time now to think of how to build your immunity and endurance for what will be another long slog of a year.

Yesterday, Jack Lalanne’s birthday was celebrated here at MySalesDay; today, let’s dig deeper into health management and what it means for you.

Health management means more than having a gym strategy. For a seller, health management requires performing at peak over a sustained period. Each year is a marathon.

If you did not set health goals a few weeks ago during resolution time, don’t worry…it’s not too late.

Do

Think holistically about how you can stay healthy this year by considering the following:
1. What is the one thing about your diet you can change that will help you in ’25?

2. Which doctors can help you with preventative care on issues that may flare up?

3. What will give you emotional strength this year? A new social group? No booze? A regular meeting with the counselors at BetterHelp? Daily meditating?

Today, plan for the stamina you’ll need for the year!

Yeah, hitting the gym or spending time on the Peloton is important if you want to stay in top condition, but so too is managing your diet, preventative care, and emotional nourishment.

Don’t apologize for being exhausted in December; sales is a tough mental and physical slog. And with memories of the Q4 push still in your brain, take time now to think of how to build your immunity and endurance for what will be another long slog of a year.

Do you notice when your attitude goes up and down? It’s all related to how the bod is doing. It’s nearly impossible to put on a happy face when your physical health is compromised.

If you’re gonna survive planes, trains, early meetings, and late-night banging on the laptop, you must address some of the foundations of good health. You don’t need MySalesDay to remind you about good sleep hygiene, hydration, exercise and meditation…but you might need a push to take action.

You are a complex functioning being with many needs…don’t ignore what you need most. That’s for you to figure out, but you must do something if you want to stay in the TOP 10%.

Oomph

You’ve seen enough videos urging you to set New Year’s resolutions; for a change of pace, watch this hilarious amateur video featuring bonehead workout stunts that occur regularly in your neighborhood gym. (The ridiculous running commentary alone is worth a watch.)

Hopefully, this vid will make you think about how you will stay in the game during the next 49 weeks.
