Charisma makes you taller

"Hey, you…dial-up that charisma when you’re around your clients…k?"

YES, an essential selling trait like charisma can be turned up or down.

You’re in sales…you’re part actor.

This is not to say you should stand on your head and juggle to entertain your customers, but your positive energy can go a long way towards engaging them.

Good energy is infectious. It’ll be easier to book meetings if you’re known as the trusting, strategic AND charismatic seller.

Do

Today, in a client pitch meeting, stand on your head and juggle.

(BAA-HAA-HAA!)

….alright, fine.

Being charismatic doesn’t mean speaking faster or laughing loudly at every word the buyer says. (You know what it means for you.)

Making a focused effort to turn up the energy and excitement on demand when in front of buyers means blocking the weight of your job before you jump on the Zoom or into the meeting. If you feel "it" (fill in the blank), you probably wear it too.

Block…lift…nail it!

Oomph

Bringing charisma to your clients requires equal parts authenticity and programmed energy.

BUT, if you can juggle like the amazing Emile Carey, you don’t need to work on your charisma.

Marvel at his charisma in this hypnotically entertaining three-minute stunt.

Quote of the day

I’m really tall when I stand on my charisma.
