Skill

Fret not…the Huge Holiday Hiatus is coming soon and you’ll soon be shopping online, bingeing Netflix, and popping Hershey’s Kisses! (Who isn’t ready for a break?)

Beyond HHH, Q1 is faintly knocking inside your head. Answer the door!

The effort you put in before next Friday to plan for Q1 will also provide momentum for Qs 2 and 3!

You’ll feel so much better if you wake up on January 5th to a packed January calendar and a long, organized To Do list.

Do

Today, focus on these Q1 prep tasks:

1. Get some January meetings.

2. Plan your calendar with backwards engineering against your quota: e.g. what does your pipeline have to be at milestone dates?

3. Edit your strategic account plans.

4. Revise your Q1 account and skill goals.

It sounds like a lot, but remember, these tasks are ongoing.

Start by analyzing your revenue for Q1 – where were you this time last year in terms of bookings/quota achievement?

When asked, "What do you do on the days when you’re not feeling it?" John Gretton Willink Jr., a retired U.S. Navy SEAL known as Jocko, responds with a teeth-clattering answer in this power-packed three-minute clip.

Follow Jocko’s lead and keep going…there’s more in your tank.
