"Don’t you start judging how I spend my time!!"

Relax.

TM is not about being judged; it’s about how you understand productivity and planning. Pushing yourself to spend time more efficiently is smart…after all, you get a new quota every 90 days!

What you want to avoid is getting in the habit of wishing for more time. Not just because that will never change, but because attitude and tactics are all you need to get on the right side of time.

Don’t be a time martyr…never say, "I don’t have the time."

Yes, you do.

Do

TM is a productivity game you can easily win by executing a few easy tasks:

1. Spend 10 quiet minutes at the end of each day previewing your next ten business days. Once a week, preview the next twenty business days.

2. Integrate goal activity into calendar blocks to align your time spent against those goals.

3. Say no to meetings and distractions that compete with your work on goals….including people who want to steal your time.

If you don’t have time to watch this TED Talk featuring Hitesh Choudhary – then you need to watch this TED Talk. (Read that again if you must.)

Controversy warning: Hitesh boldly proclaims that time is unmanageable.

Not true! But it’s good to get in on the debate to help you determine what works best for you.

Quote of the day

Time is really the only capital any human being has, and the only thing he can’t afford to lose.
