No, no, no… you LOVE prospecting

Skill

There is no magic pixie dust that’s going to save you on the prospecting thing. You must put in the time.

The best prospecting results occur when you flip the switch on your mindset and ask, "Where is my next best friend? …where does s/he work?

Champions was yesterday’s topic, and today is about targeting them and getting ’em on your calendar.

Prospecting is hard only if you decide it is.

Do

Today, follow these two prospecting applications:

1. Use the burst/frequency strategy: spend a short period of time prospecting, and repeat frequently throughout the day.

2. Create a fun competition between you and a few others in the office to help motivate you. "The first one to get a meeting wins!" (Wins what?? …a stuffed animal? Something!)

Force yourself to stay in the game…don’t succumb to distractions. Strive to reach The Zone and stay there as long as you can.

Oomph

If you watch this inane YT short more than once, you are officially NOT in The Zone.

GET BACK TO PROSPECTING!

This is a test of discipline.

Do you want to watch silly parlor tricks that promote procrastination, or do you want to get meetings and get one step closer to finding your next Champion? (Don’t answer that….!)

Quote of the day

It has been my observation that most people get ahead during the time that others waste.
