Ditch your pitch deck

Decks are a crutch for sellers.

What would happen if you didn’t present your 23-slide PPT general preso in your next pitch meeting?

What if, instead, you came prepared with a strong POV about their challenges and the solution you were presenting?

When buyers watch sellers settle in for the Big Deck Preso, they head to their in-box.

All you need to run a productive pitch meeting is a strong ownership of your value proposition and a list of good questions. Focus on building your conversation skills.

Do

Breaking old habits is difficult, but you can do anything if you set your mind.

If it’s hard for you to ditch the pitch, at least work on trimming down your show-n-tell approach.

Today, start practicing running an engaging pitch meeting using only three slides. Next, refer to the question menu you worked on yesterday and choose the top five questions that must be asked in your next buyer interaction.

Then, grab a BFF and practice using your questions and three slides in a mock pitch meeting.

Oomph

Although this LOL one-minute clip is an ad promoting join me online meetings, it’s mostly a hilarious jab at deck presentations.

But if deck presos created this kind of a meeting….???? …just saying!
