Sure, you thrive on the action, but each week in sales brings a new rock fight. And this past week was another heavy-duty battle.

On Monday, you notched a win, but the good feelings dissipated quickly because, on Tuesday, you learned one of your "can’t miss deals" went south.

Yeah, that’s The Sales Life, right? Stuff comes at you from all directions during the workweek…it’s relentless. And it’s not always peaches and cream.

Logically, you understand the need to rest and recharge on the weekends, but what does mindfulness mean when you’re bringing it down from a week in the fast lane, going 160 mph?

As you know from experience, you don’t get anything unless you define it and plot your course. It’s the same with mindfulness.

If you view mindfulness only as an "interesting concept," you might benefit from this short video by the good folks at Happify. They produce science-based activities and games and, in this clip, offer a good view on mindfulness that may spur you on to action!

Quote of the day

It’s an illusion that there’s a meditation and post-meditation period, which I find amusing because you’re either mindful or you’re not.
