Video pitch meetings…UGH!
Published on
Skill
Video pitch meetings will never compare to F2F meetings if you’re trying to influence buyer opinions and decisions.
Since you actually don’t enjoy video pitch meetings, and they’re at least 50% less effective than F2Fs, why not ask for more F2Fs?
Straighten your spine: ask to meet them in person first, then settle for a video meeting afterward.
SELL them on meeting in person!
Do
Today, commit to pushing for a F2F meeting with your prospects and customers. This means you’ll need to devise reasons why it’s better to meet in person. This will tax your creativity, but that’s a good thing.
Try levity to appeal to the human who is your buyer:
"Hey, Mr. Prospect, I’m tired of Zoom…how ’bout you? Wanna meet in person and practice our interpersonal skills on each other?"
Even if you shift the ratio of video-to-F2F meetings slightly, you’ll get more in-person contact and that will help your close rate!
Oomph
What if one of your buyers used this video management tool on you??? Ouch. That would be horrible.
Fight the ridiculousness!
Get inside your customer’s office! Or, get outside and meet them in the park!
Whatever…wherever…meet them in person!
