Wow a customer, get a referral

Skill

You have a great chance of getting a customer to commit to introducing you to another KDM… if you ask.

Your odds go up considerably if you ask at the right time.

The right time?

Right after the deal gets done. At the end of a very productive meeting. During the game.

When is the wrong time to ask for a referral or intro?

Hmmmmm…….

Or, you can keep sending 100 emails a day and praying.

Do

After you read this, write "ASK FOR AN INTRO" on a post-it and afix it to your laptop.

Then, take out your notebook and write across the top of the next ten pages, "ASK FOR AN INTRO."

Take out the printed agendas you’ve created for all your upcoming F2F meetings and write "ASK FOR AN INTRO" somewhere on your copy of the agenda.

Grooving a new habit requires discipline, and discipline makes the "DOing" easier.

Oomph

The next time you ask a client for an intro to someone you need to see, play this YT Short to congratulate yourself…

Referrals are NOT an entitlement.
