A seller’s emotions can shift with the wind. Stuff comes at you from all directions during the workweek; much of it can be filed in the "hard" column.

Sure, you thrive on the action and the wins, but a rock fight is still a rock fight.

For some, solace is found at a bar on Friday night. For others, it’s the gym. And some merely want to curl up with their favorite pet and watch a vid.

Weekends are meant for self-care. Whether you define self-care by sleeping and breathing – or yoga, biking, or hiking – make yourself number one this weekend.

Do

Getting what you want is only a decision away. (Plus a little execution, of course.)

If you want a robust pipeline, schedule more prospecting time. To nail your quarterly goals, set milestones and hold yourself accountable for your performance.

It’s the same with mindfulness.

If you want to run far away from your work and use the weekend to escape mentally, do things that bring you joy and release.

Commit to mindfulness this weekend. Schedule the activities that bring you peace of mind and joy.

Oomph

The only thing better than a massage is a roll-on-the-floor YouTube clip showing the worst massage ever.

You might not make it through the entire nine minutes of this clip, but that’s alright ‘cuz you’ll be chortling for along while.

Warning: this clip is insane and not that peaceful…watch with an open mind and a strong head!

Quote of the day

"The only reason why we ask other people how their weekend was is so we can tell them about our own weekend." – Chuck Palahniuk
