Summer Fridays

Skill + Do

Your biggest enemy on a working Summer Friday is focus.

Don’t daydream about what you would be doing had you taken the day off. Be disciplined and make sure you accomplish something substantive.

No doubt you have many big demands, events, and deadlines coming at you in the next few weeks that could use attention; pick one and dedicate real focus to it.

Check your strategic account planners to see what you need to move to the top of your list.

What about prospecting? Often, you’ll catch that hard-to-reach customer on a Friday.

How about another check-in on your time management protocol to ensure you’re on target where you’re spending time?

What about one of those tasks you kicked down the road? Well, today is the day to deal with it.

Ignore the FOMO today…others are working hard too. Just don’t waste the chance to do something great.

And if you’re off today…don’t work.
