On this day in 1774, scientist Joseph Priestley discovered oxygen. As we know, it fuels every breath we take.

For sellers, oxygen isn’t just about breathing – it’s about thinking. You’ll be surprised how often the right answer, a fresh perspective, or a creative solution finds you when you focus on oxygen.

The best oxygen is found in some really great places: forests, lakes, parks…even your own backyard. Wherever you can get it this weekend, go get more.

Take a long hike in a place you haven’t been to before. Sit on the grass and stare at the clouds. Or, pick up a good book. Reading has a wonderful way of helping the mind breathe.

To help, spend a few minutes with this delightful TED Youth Talk by ninth-grader Ella Lee. She makes a compelling case for why reading isn’t just educational—it’s one of life’s great escapes.

Quote of the day

Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure.
