Prepare for your next customer conversation by focusing on you and the pitch:
1. You. Do you present yourself confidently? Are you verbally brief and clear? Are you knowledgeable yet humble? …are you smiling?
2. The pitch. …throw it away. Nobody cares. What they care about is your mastery of the solutions you offer and understanding of their challenges.
Ask good questions that show you’ve done your homework, and let the customer feel like they own the conversation.
