Skill + Do
You have learned and acquired many skills that have propelled you to your current state, but how will you keep moving forward? Keep growing, or you’ll watch even the slowest competitor move past you.
At his peak, Usain Bolt trained six days a week, 11 months a year. He went to the gym for 90 minutes daily, training to improve his speed, agility, and endurance to improve his core muscles and strength.
Usain’s workout combined strength exercises at the gym with speed drills at the track. As such, he built a powerful body that earned him the title of Fastest Man Alive over a half-decade.
What will it take to earn Best Seller Alive status throughout your prime?
Start with continuous learning and feedback. Sure, skill training is key and should be an ongoing process, but you’ll need to open your mind and seek feedback from many who will be honest with you about your skill gaps.
Like sprinting down a track, sales breeds younger, faster, smarter competition. Stand still for one second, and you’ll get lapped.
