Ahhh, you’re ready for a mentor. Good! Every seller in the TOP 10% has a mentor…probably many.

As you build your team of mentors, remember that mentors need to be guided. Bring them your toughest questions and your biggest challenges.

Do

Today, schedule lunch with someone you think could play an important role in your career. Tell them you’d appreciate their thoughts on a few issues you’re working through.

Then do it again. Reach out to another person who might fit your mentor profile. (They don’t need to know you’re holding mentor tryouts.)

Do their answers and reccos make sense to you?

Do they gently challenge your thinking?

Do you feel you can talk openly with them?
