Summer’s over. Sorry to rip the band-aid off, but the first day of the stretch run must be about prospecting.
Top 20 lists, reserved calendar blocks, speed typing, catchy subject lines, email variations, Chat scripts….hmmm, what else is in your prospecting tool kit?
Oh yeah…a good attitude.
And what about shoes? …your gardening shoes. They’re pretty important when you’re digging in the dirt.
There’s no silver bullet to prospecting…the answer is in the dirt. Sure, systems and tools are important, but mostly, prospecting is about digging.
Do
Prospect. That’s today’s DO.
Stop procrastinating.
Stop picking up your phone to look at the weather for the tenth time today (the forecast hasn’t changed).
Stop wasting time on non-essential sales activities.
Prospect.
Call someone. Write someone. If you think smoke signals would break through, then do that. Do anything that can be defined as prospecting.
You’ll feel so good about yourself when today is done.
