Certainly, you don’t spend as much time prepping for internal meetings as you do a pitch, but what would happen if you arrived at every internal meeting with an agenda?
There’s nothing wrong with treating everyone inside your org as if they’re the CEO. Bring your best self everywhere and see how much it elevates you and those around you.

This morning, spend a few minutes prepping for today’s internal meetings.
Blow your peers away by coming to your meetings with more:
…more attention,
…more proactive, strategic thinking,
…and more open-mindedness.
And, of course, be on time.
This doesn’t mean the old you wasn’t good…but it might be time for an upgrade on how you contribute inside the company.
Oomph
You love client pitch meetings – the adrenaline gets goin’ and the performer in you emerges. (The smell of money is in the air, turning you into a sales demon.)
But internal meetings? Hmmm. (Where’d the adrenaline go?)
