12/28/2024-Work? …or binge-watch?
Published on
Skill
Inarguably, this is one of the best weeks of the year. And whether you choose to work a little and rest a lot – or the other way around – this is a great time to enjoy whatever you fancy.
Skiing. Movies. Dinners with friends. Exercise.
It all feels a little more fun because time releases its grip on your throat!
The new year will come soon enough. Sleep, drink, and be merry!
Do
If you want to lay on the couch all week and watch shows, go for it.
But if you’re up for a balanced routine that includes shows, exercise, fun, restaurants, and a little work, that’s fine, too.
If you do have to work, it’s best to set some boundaries and specifics about what work you want to do during these amorphous days.
Getting resentful and frustrated over anything this week ain’t cool, so be smart about budgeting your work time. Block your morning for an hour of work, and then get back on the couch and watch your stories!
No deadlines, no meetings, no cares in the world. And best of all, your inbox has stopped screaming at you.
Enjoy this week – the race up the mountain will start again soon enough.
